STACY LANGMEYER Obituary

STACY A. LANGMEYER, 33, passed away Friday, April 17, 2015, at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Born in Fort Wayne, Stacy graduated from Bishop Dwenger High School in 2000. Afterward, she graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and a Master's Degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Later, she worked as a Senior Research Assistant at the University of Cincinnati, an Associate Project Manager for Meridian Bioscience, then a Clinical Research Associate at Medpace. She also earned CCRA certification from ACRP and was a published researcher. Stacy cared about animal welfare, human rights, and science and technology. Surviving are her parents, Joseph and Deborah Langmeyer of Grabill; brother, Phillip Langmeyer of Grabill; sister, Jennifer (Otto) Langmeyer-Sticca of Phoenix, Ariz.; grandparents, Roger and Alice Klosterman of The Villages, Fla.; and best friend since high school, Bill Storey of Cincinnati. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Donald and Norma Langmeyer; and cousin, Aaron Miller. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 23, 2015, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1502 E. Wallen Road, with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road. Memorials may be made to the Allen County A.S.P.C.A.
