Thomas J. Watson, Sr., 89, of The Villages FL and formerly of Fort Wayne, died Monday March 17, 2025, Thomas retired in 1987 as a Systems Analyst for International Harvester, after 30 years with the company. He moved to Fort Myers FL in 1990 and later to The Villages FL. Thomas is survived by his wife, Doris (Radu) Watson; children, Thomas J. (Elizabeth) Watson Jr. of Round Rock TX, Dr. Terrence A. (Rebecca) Watson of Markle IN and Tracy Watson (Mike) Beer of Indianapolis; grandchildren, A.J. Oleniak, Isaac Watson, Jacob Watson, Dr. Emily Watson, Kara Beer, Sam Beer, Thomas J. "Trey" Watson III and Riley Watson. Also surviving is a sister, Mary Watson Hernandez. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin & Algenia Watson and his brother, James Watson. Funeral Mass 10:30am Wednesday March 26, 2025, in St Jude Catholic Church, 2155 Randallia Dr. with visitation from 9:30-10:30am in the church. Visitation is also from 5-8pm Tuesday at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave. with the Rosary at 4:30pm. Burial in Catholic Cemetery. The family's preferred memorials are Turnstone Center, the American Cancer Society or Masses at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in Wildwood FL.
