Timothy Eakin Obituary
Tim graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1968 and later attended IPFW, where he played on the inaugural men's soccer team.
He was a longtime sales representative for Zep Corporation, and was the original owner of the Munchie Emporium Restaurant on Broadway and Taylor Streets in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Tim was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Tim was married to the love of his life, Hanna for 27 years until her passing on December 3, 2018.
Survivors include his children, Elizabeth, Alexander, and Michelle all of Fort Wayne, Indiana, grand-daughter, Audrey Eakin, and sister, Carma Reiss of Surprise, Arizona, and brothers, Phillip Eakin of San Diego, California, and John Eakin of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
A Mass of Christian Burial Celebration will be held at 10:30 am Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4916 Trier Road, Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior to the Mass at the church. Fr. James Kumbakkeel will officiate the Mass. Burial will be at the Ray-Covenanter Cemetery, Fremont, Indiana. Condolences may be sent online to the family at www.beamsfuneralhome.com

I knew Tim since 1980 when I married my husband Dave. He had just opened up the Munchie Emporium. My husband and I went to eat there and I asked if he needed any help. He told me to start the next business day. Tim taught me how to parallel park so I could get my driver's license. I gave Tim a gift certificate to a massage therapist and she was Hanna. Tim and Hanna were destined to meet and a beautiful family they had.

so sad to see of tims passing...he was our Zep sales rep for years and he and i always discussed notre dame football..a very nice guy ..may the Good Lord bring the family strenghts and may his soul RIP....
