VERA ROBINSON

VERA ROBINSON, 85, passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born March 6, 1927, in Economy, Ind., she was a daughter of the late Thomas H. and Mary Williams. She also lived in Richmond and Muncie, and settled in Fort Wayne, where she was employed at Fort Wayne Developmental Center, Visiting Nurse Service, Matthew 25, and enjoyed working as a foster grandparent. She was a member of New Zion Tabernacle; devoted to family, extended family and friends; an avid bowler of the Fort Wayne Hi-Low Bowling League; loved traveling; and a V.F.W. Post 8147 Auxiliary member for over 30 years. "She was faithful to those she loved." Surviving are her son, Thomas (Beatrice) Tevis of Fort Wayne; and a host of grandchildren, other family and friends. She was also preceded in death by two husbands, Paul Tevis and Jerry Robinson; grandson, Thomas Tevis Jr.; and five sisters including Desira M."Boo" Kearns who passed on June 23, 2011.
