Viola Ann Edgar

Viola Ann "Mrs. E" Edgar, 100, of Fort Wayne, passed away on December 10, 2025, Born in Winchester, Ill., in 1925, she was married to Roy G. Edgar in 1948, he passed away in 1969. She was employed by Western Union, then later retired from Kitch Acceptance Corp. after 22 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church for more than 65 years. She is survived by her son, Donald (Linda) Edgar; daughter, Deitra (Jay) Edgar-Singleton; 4 grandchildren, Stacy Edgar, Timothy Edgar, Stacy Christlieb and Jamie Thomas; 6 great-grandchildren, Zachary, Mason, Chase, AJ, Darrin and Juliet; 2 great-great-granchildren, Conner and Paige. She was also preceded in death by son, David; and great-grandson, Alex. Funeral service is 1:30 p.m. Sat., Dec. 20, 2025, at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells St., Fort Wayne, with viewing from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Graveside burial following service at Prairie Grove Cemetery.
