William Millar Obituary

William John "Bill" Millar, 76, of Fort Wayne, IN, peacefully went home to Jesus March 12, 2026, surrounded by family. Born January 28, 1950, in Philadelphia PA, to the late William Sr. and Elizabeth Millar. He was a proud U.S. Army veteran who served during the Vietnam War. He married the love of his life, Sharon, on April 17, 1970. He loved spending time with his family and rarely missed the chance to watch his grandchildren play sports. Bill is survived by his children, Dave (Trina) Millar and Jenny (Matt) Lauer; grandchildren, Taylor (Anthony) Jerrall, Alli (Allister) Fisher, Chris Lauer, Dalton (Nicole) Langston, Nathan Millar, Lexy Lauer, Bailey Langston, Riley Millar, and Phoenix Millar; great-grandchildren Zander Fisher, Leighton Fisher, Easton Jerrall, Norah Langston, and Chandler Fisher; siblings Steve (Sharon) Millar, Betty (Boog) Laird, and Tom (Ellen) Millar. Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Millar. A Celebration of Life will be held later, where everyone will all gather and remember the wonderful life that Bill lived and all the amazing memories he left behind. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
