WILLIAM WILSON Obituary

WILLIAM (BILL) W. WILSON, 80, fell asleep in death on Friday, Oct. 27, 2017 at Ashton Creek Health Center after a long illness. Born Dec. 28, 1936, he was a son of the late William and Edith Wilson. He was a graduate of Northside High School and retired from Allen Products as a warehouse foreman. He was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1968. He married his wife, Judy Ann Gordon, in 1958 and together raised four children. She preceded him in death in 2006 after 48 years of marriage. He enjoyed watching sports, collecting cars and spending time with his kids and grandkids. He is survived by his three sons, Scott of South Bend, Mark of Mishawaka, Todd of Angola; daughter, Karen (Gary) Salisbury of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Melissa (Jason) Tigner, Jennifer (Jeremy) VanAndel, Christopher and Cathy Wilson, and Jared (Hanna) Salisbury; great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Shelby Tigner and Miles VanAndel; one sister, Sally Moulin; and brothers-in-law, Kenny Shively, John Gordon and Jim Jacobs; sister-in-law, Judith Wilson; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Carl, Melvin and James; and three sisters, Dorothy Balser, Rosella Stech, and Mary Lou Freeman. There will be no service per his request. Arrangements by Midwest Funeral Home & Cremation Society.
