Agnes Glidden Obituary
Born on April 22, 1912, in Moultonborough to Thomas and Lily (Knowles) Davis, Agnes was raised in Moultonborough and graduated from the Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro.
Agnes was a homemaker who had a keen interest in bird watching, she loved to read, and loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her beloved grandchildren.
Agnes was predeceased by her loving husband of 58 years, Norman Glidden, formerly of Plymouth and East Wakefield, and two children, Mary Ann and Thomas Glidden.
She is survived by her two daughters, Ella Morris, of Wayne, N.J., and Dorothy Clow, of Winthrop, Maine; three sons, Norman (Dick) and Carmen Glidden, of Rangeley, Maine, Robert and Ann Glidden of East Wakefield, and John Glidden of Scarborough, Maine; 23 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, and was loved by two stepgrandchildren, Joanne and Jasmine.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Agnes's memory to the Lakes Region Humane Society, 11 Old Route 28, Ossipee, NH 03864 or to the Mountain View Nursing Home, 10 County Farm Road, Ossipee, NH 03864.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, Jan. 2, 2009, at Mayhew Funeral Home, 12 Langdon St., Plymouth, at 11 a.m. The Rev. Edward J. Charest will officiate.

Dear Ann, Bob and Family,
I am very sorry to hear of Agnes's passing. I enjoyed taking care of her, and I feel priviliged to have gotten to know her. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you, in your time of grief. Please know that.
