Agnes Goodwin

SANFORD, Maine ; Agnes Goodwin, 68, of 1142 Main St., died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2007, at the Goodall Hospital after a brief illness.

She was born March 7, 1939, in Bar Harbor, Maine, the daughter of Irving Potter and the late Elsie (Norwood) Potter. She had resided in Lebanon, for 47 years and raised her family there.

Mrs. Goodwin was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. She enjoyed watching television and spending time with her dog "Doodles."

The widow of Donald Goodwin, who died May 25, 2006, she is survived by her sons, Donald Goodwin, Jr. of Farmington, N.H., and Linwood Goodwin and his wife, Michelle, of Rochester, N.H.; daughters, Helen Getchus and husband, William, of Rochester, Nancy Talbot and husband, Tracy, of Lebanon, Fern Sordiff and husband, Greg, of Gonic, N.H.; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her father of Berwick; sister, Janet Brown of Barrington, N.H.; brothers, Irving Potter, Jr. of Standish, and Robert Potter of Saco.

There will be no calling hours.

A graveside service will be Wednesday, Nov. 14, at 11 a.m. in the Old Cold Spring Cemetery, East Rochester, N.H.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Nancy Talbot, FBO funeral expenses, c/o Profile Bank, 45 Wakefield Street, Rochester NH 03867.
