Chad Crovetti Obituary


Chad Neil Crovetti, age 46 of North Berwick, ME, passed away after a brief illness on February 12th, 2021. He was born in Haverhill, Massachusetts on January 7th, 1975 a son of Neil Crovetti and Sharon (Gagnon) Kelly.
He was a 1993 graduate of Winnacunnet High School. Two weeks after graduation, he married the love of his life Michelle Cunningham. Chad worked at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard for the past 20 years, most recently as a Resource Production Specialist.
Chad was an avid outdoorsman, who had many hobbies including: boating, hiking, camping, carving, four wheeling, and snowmobiling. He dedicated his life to supporting his family and friends. He also volunteered with many organizations including Yorkshire Masonic Lodge, York County Shrine Club, Restoration Church, and coaching recreational sports. His favorite accomplishment was achieving his Eagle Scout in 1990. He was and remains a shining example of what it means to be a good man.
He was predeceased by his grandparents Roland Gagnon and wife Elizabeth, Rico Crovetti and wife Rita, and his brother Tony Crovetti.
He is survived by his loving wife, Michelle, their children, Zachary and Tessa Crovetti, Jacob Zenga, Dylan Zenga and fiancée Miranda Quint, and beloved dog Ella.
He is also survived by his mother, Sharon Kelly and stepfather David; his father, Neil Crovetti and stepmother Rose; his father-in-law Glenn Giampa and wife Arlene; his father-in-law Dennis Cunningham and wife Amani; his two brothers, Eric Crovetti and wife Rachel and their children, Kristopher Crovetti and wife Lindsey and their children, and sister Dawn-Marie Crovetti and her children.
He leaves behind his brother-in-law, Dennis Cunningham and wife Sandra and his children; his sister-in-law, Lisa Zavitsanos and husband John and their children; his step brothers, Nathan Kelly and wife Jennifer and their children, Christopher Kelly and wife Elyse and their children, Michael and Sean Minichello, Eric Minichello and wife Julia and their child.
His grandchildren are Peyton and Lillianna Zenga, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. Chad will be missed by all who knew him.
Services: Face masks are required to attend both services. Wake will take place at Paul C Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, Amesbury MA on Friday, February 19th, 2021 from 10a.m.-1 p.m.
A memorial service will take place at Restoration Church at 80 Rutland St, Dover NH on Saturday, February 20th at 2:30 p.m. Following the memorial service will be a celebration of life at the church.
