I always enjoyed George's visits to the bookstore. His whimsical outlook on people and politics provided a never-ending source of amusement. His good luck charm from Korea is still hanging on the wall here and will keep him in my memories at Durham Book Exchange.

We are so sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Romoser. I have very fond memories of him from the time that I was about 8. He spent ample time at our house as a colleague of my Father- Professor Gordon. Mr. Romoser was always a friendly face and had a comforting way about him. I enjoyed many conversations about his apple trees and as a youngster- enjoyed many of his apples. We will miss him dearly and send our deepest condolences to Meche and his Family. Daniel Gordon, Amy Trafton and Children- Laurel and Evan. (Durham, NH.)
