Harry Plaisted Obituary
Harry was born in Dover Mar. 25, 1941, the son of Harry and Blanche (Davis) Plaisted. Harry was retired from the city of Dover. Then he enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing poker, and most of all his family and pets. He was everyone's hero and he may have been a man of few words, but always made us laugh. He was the heart and soul of our family.
He was a devoted husband of 46 years to Carol (Ainsworth) Plaisted; wonderful father to his two children, William Plaisted and wife Amy (Burley) of Farmington and their three children, Patrick Duffy of Newmarket, William Plaisted Jr and Michaela Plaisted of Farmington; Katherine (Plaisted) and husband Hanny Oroh and their children, Andrew Morse and wife Tersa (Sumolang), Kayleigh and husband Jerry Tengker, Jessica and husband Rafel Wantania, Frank Pattiasina, Marcelano, Gabrielle, Angelina, and Mateo Oroh, Jennifer and Jason Suwu, and Matthew Mahadeo of Somersworth. Harry was also a father figure to Steve Peters, Jennifer Sheehan, Johanna Nason, and Melissa Nason. His great grand children were Jeremi Morse, Lucas Tengker, and Saydee Wantania. His sisters Rosetta and husband Paul Vallee of Somersworth and Judith Plaisted of Dover. Brother Clyde Plaisted Somersworth. Predeceased by his mother; his father; his brother, James Plaisted; his sister, Donna Plaisted and Grandson, Tyler Morse.
Friends may call Fri. from 10 to noon at the Roberge Funeral Home 298 High St. Somersworth. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery in Dover.

Dad your stone came in ... It's beautiful ... I miss you so much .. I was with Lucas today and he said papa .. I said oh papa loves you and I know you love him ...dad I miss you everyday and I don't know how I'm going to handle the holidays ... Halloween was one of ur favorite one .. You always made me buy so much candy and you and mom had every kid in the world at your house... And then thanksgiving was always fun you would eat turkey and stuffing to you were so full and then there's Christmas .. Oh lord Christmas with you was everything ... Weeks before you would have us get all ur presents from under the tree so you could open them ... Funny oh god you was always so funny ... Went to a fishing derby the other day with my boys and we where thinking of you. We drive by the fishery and think you. We would stop and get some trout so you could clean them to eat. We are all missing you.

It seems since you been gone our life's all have changed and I don,t feel they were good changes. I do understand that things do change I guess I am saying I just don,t understand. But again I and our family have never lost anyone in our life's before that ment so much to all of like you do. Well papa saydee will be 4 months on the 16th. I wish you could she her she is so funny. I miss you so much. I keep my feelings inside because if I think about you not being her it kills me inside. Hey Papa I miss you like crazy. I went to your house today and walked past your room and I looked in there and you were not there. You were one of the strongest men I knew. You used to ask everytime I came down to see you how my basketball team was doing but you can't anymore so I'll tell you now. We are doing good, my last game was on Tuesday and we won. I tried even harder for you I had 10 points that game. I miss talking about hunting and fishing with you. I miss hanging around with you. i really miss you dad. i wish i knew why you had to leave with out warning. these last few days have been the hardest i had to face. i try to rest but all i do is lay and think about you.i got a few hours of sleep last nite but i had dream about you dont get me wrong i dont mine dreaming about you but last night in my dream you were gone to. there will come a day i will get some rest as time moves on but i will never forget about the best dad that anyone could have and thats you dad. please give mom the strength to move on dont let her feel alone
