James Donald Mitchell

DOVER - James "Pete" Donald Mitchell, 83, of Dover, passed away on Monday, July 28, 2014, at his home with his family by his side. He was born in Rehobeth Beach, Delaware on December 11, 1930, to the late William Thomas Mitchell and Claire Edna (Hastings) Mitchell

Pete served in the United States Air Force for 26 years, retiring to Dover where he was a manager at Electric Motor Service Center until his full retirement in 1993.

Pete is predeceased by his parents, his brothers, and his wife of 61 years Barbara Jean Mitchell.

He is survived by his three sons, James Ross Mitchell and David Scott Mitchell of Dover, A. Todd Mitchell and his partner of 26 years June Bragdon of Gonic; and one sister Peggy White of Delaware.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Pete's memory to Great Bay Services 2061 Woodbury Ave. Newington, N.H. 03801.
