Philip Bickford Obituary
LEBANON, Maine - Philip A. Bickford, 76, of 26 Chickadee Lane, died Sunday Feb. 15, 2015 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.
Born Feb. 3, 1939 in Dover he was the son of the late Russell and Martha (Babineau) Bickford.
He resided in Lebanon for the past 30 years and had worked and retired from Pratt-Whitney Company. He was a lifetime member of NRA and a shooting enthusiast.
Family includes, daughters, Mary Beth Bickford, Rochester, Penny Stevens, Lebanon, Maine. Jennifer Kokolis. Manchester; grandchildren, Derek Stevens and wife Brittany, Samantha Stevens, Jameson Kokolis; twin sister, Phyllis Bickford, Dover, NH; nieces, nephews and special friend, Kim St. John, Atkinson, NH. He was predeceased by brother, Richard Bickford.
Family and friends may visit Saturday 9-11 a.m. at the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main Street, Rochester, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cocheco Valley Humane Society, 262 County Farm Road, Dover, NH 03820.

Bubby was a one-of-a-kind. He could -- and did -- sit at a kitchen table for several hours and keep everyone in hysterics. The events he recounted were just everyday occurrances but the way he described them, there was nothing everyday about that. He was also just about the cleverest guy with his hands that I ever met. He could fix, or even make, just about anything. One of my lasting regrets is that when life took me away from Maine I let Bub and Sister get away from me. He was well worth the trouble to stay in touch with. Our thoughts are with Sister and the family.
