Phillip Canney Obituary

NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. – Phillip W. Canney Sr., born January 7, 1961, of Rochester, N.H., passed away peacefully in his home in New Port Richey Fla., at the age of 55, on Sunday, January 24, 2016. He was surrounded by family and friends. Phillip was the late son of Clayton Canney Sr., and Dorothy E. Canney of Rochester, N.H.

Phillip was a native to N.H., but found that he also enjoyed the peacefulness of Maine and the warmth in Fla. He had a passion for the wilderness, he enjoyed doing anything that had to do with being outdoors whether it was for work or fun, and he loved the NE Patriots!

Phillip is survived by his son Phillip Canney Jr., and his Daughter Tiffany Townsend, and several grandchildren, his two brothers Fred Canney, Clayton Canney Jr., and his sister Robin L. Canney, several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces Nephews and Cousins.

"Sometimes in life, we must say good-bye, I've become an angel up in the sky, so when you're feeling down or upset, do not worry or live with regret, for although you may not see me there I'll always be with you, with love to share, remember me always within your heart and our souls shall never part" -"Angels" a poem by, Alia Hernandez, Great Niece.
