Untimely losses are so hard to deal with. They do, however, cause us to reflect on our own lives and how they were affected by the one we just lost.
Funny what you remember - Richard and I were often mistaken for one another through our years together at the Oyster River schools. Back in his high school days, hiking and camping were also some of his interests. Richard, Tom Davis, Alan Prince and I once did a 12 day hike that took us from Gorham to the Lafayette camp ground - what a great learning and freindship building experience that was.
My deepest simpathy to all the family, and thanks for my time with Richard.

Although we had never met Richard I know he must have been a super person just by knowing his parents, Wally and Evie. Please know we are thinking about you both and also Richard's wife and family.
