Richard Eck Obituary
Dick graduated from Spaulding High School in 1967. Dick was an avid weightlifter and enjoyed hunting and scuba diving. He had a quick mind for trivia always remembering little known facts. Dick loved to get together with friends for cookouts and playing mystery games. Dick and his wife Juliana loved to travel and visit family in New Orleans, Dallas and Virginia. Dick retired from GE in Somersworth, N.H., in 2002. In his later years he enjoyed time with his grandchildren.
Richard is survived by his wife Juliana Hill; two sons Peter and wife Laura Eck of Knightdale N.C., Richard "Rich" and wife Sara Eck of North Berwick, Maine; seven grandchildren Cori, Kate, Devan, Jake, Brody, Chloe and Cole; two great-grandchildren Brady and Maia; and many extended family and friends. Dick had a great love for dogs and will be greatly missed by his companion, Finn.
SERVICES: A celebration of life will be held later this year. Arrangements were handled by Cremation Society of New Hampshire.

I worked with Dick at GE and we became good work friends. When I went clam digging I would let him know and he and his Sly would come and pick up some of them. I became very fond of him and missed working with him when we got jobs on different floors. He has always been on my mind and in my heart. I am so very sorry for your loss.

Dear Family,
Dick and I spend a lot of time together at GE talking about faith, work and of course retirement. He was a true gentleman in so many ways. It was sad to note his passing. God bless all the family.
