Dearest Trudy,
From all of the "Youngin's" in the neighborhood of Oak/Orange St, owning here for over 8 years, I always respected Bob for his getting up early, delivering papers and getting home by morning to great me with a smile, as I was a tired new mom with a young child, He was always so kind, and myself and the Neighborhood will miss him, may he rest in peace and may you feel at ease knowing that, we in the neighborhood will look out for you and help you how we can, xo Shelley (tiny yellow house) xo

Dear Trudi and family,
My thoughts are with you and your family. I remember visiting my Aunt Edie and Uncle Jerry in Portsmouth in my younger days and seeing my cousin Bob at their home. I wish you peace.

Dear Trudi & Michele, Can't tell you how sad I was to hear about Bob. I wish I was living in New England so that I could be there for the funeral and tell you this myself. I always enjoyed my visits with you and will cherish those memories forever! I know that any words I have to say to you won't heal the sorrow you feel. I truly believe that he will always be with you, so talk to him because I know he is listening.
With my deepest sympathy
Alisa

Dear Bascom Family, I am sorry to hear of the loss of Mr. Bascom, whom I knew from his visiting my pool store (Aqua Paradise/Lawrence Pools)in Portsmouth for many, many years, and from working on his pool...always with his enthusiastic help and great sense of humor to lighten the hot days! I wish to let you know he is always thought of in the dearest of regards, and that he will be missed. As a fellow veteran, I also thank you for your veteran's service to our country. We often laughed and spoke of our Army connection, him having served long before my service. Mr. Bascom was always one of my most favorite swimming pool customers and I always looked forward to his smiling visits to the store. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. He will be remembered fondly and surely missed. Best Regards.
