Stacy Haskell Obituary

NORTH BERWICK, Maine - Stacy R. Haskell, 50, of Maple Street, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018. Born in Sanford, Maine, January 2, 1968, the youngest of three children born to Stanley and Irene (Cole) Haskell and attended Noble Schools.

Stacy worked construction for 20 years but recently worked as a dietary aide at the Kennebunk Nursing Home.

Stacy was a big teddy bear with a heart of gold who helped anyone in need. He raced at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway, was on the pit crew for Wink Racing, collected NASCAR memorabilia and tinkered on old engines. His greatest love in life was his family.

Stacy is survived by fiancé, Melanie (Randall) Taylor; mother, Irene Haskell of North Berwick; two sons, Braden Haskell and wife Jordan Worthing of Wells, Joshua Booth of Sanford; two daughters, Katrina Haskell and fiancé Travis Demers of Sanford, Shelby Taylor and companion Carly Goss of South Berwick; brother Dwayne Haskell and companion Rebecca Clarke of Windham; sister, Vickie Ford and husband Larry of Wells; three grandchildren, Hailey Worthing, Tucker Ballou, Penelope Haskell and a granddaughter, Lakota due in August; nieces and nephews, Shamarae Ford, Brittany Heaward, Terrin Haskell and Brody Ford.

SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, April 26, from 4-6 p.m., at the Johnson Funeral Home, 26 Market St., North Berwick, followed by a memorial service at 6 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Kennebunk Nursing Home Activity Department, 158 Ross Rd., Kennebunk, ME 04043. Arrangements are entrusted to the Johnson Funeral Home. Condolences may be expressed at www.JohnsonFuneralHomeME.com.

Irene, I'm so sorry to hear about Stacy. I remember Stacy from when we lived next door from you when I was in kindergarden. My sister Kim and I walked to school with Stacy and Dwanye. Your in my thoughts and prayers.

I just found out about Stacy this morning while getting ready for work. I'm very sad at our loss. Stacy was always a friend to me. I will miss Stacy but I know I will see him again when it's my turn.

Most of all when I think of Stacy is the love he had for his little buddy Tucker. There is a special bond shared with a Grandparent that lasts a lifetime. His laugh is a great memory to have .We are so sad for your loss. Bonnie Mayberry and Rick Staples.
