Wanda Libby Obituary

SPRINGVALE — Wanda Libby, 50, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2011, at the Windmill Farm following a period of failing health.

Born Dec. 20, 1960, in Rochester, N.H., she was the daughter of the late Gardner and Vena (Labby) Libby, Sr.

Wanda enjoyed playing cards and carried her cards with her in her red pocketbook.

She enjoyed country music and watching fairy tales and cartoons.

She was a very special girl who had many family and friends who loved her dearly. Wanda had attended Camp Waban for over 40 years.

Members of her family include her brother, Gardner Libby, Jr., and his wife, Muriel, of Middleton, N.H.; her sister, Frances Thereau, and her husband, Kenneth, of Muldrow, Okla.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brother, Richard Labby, and her nephew, Greg Libby.

A graveside service was held Friday, April 22, in the New Cold Spring Cemetery in East Rochester, N.H.

Arrangements are under the direction of the R.M. Edgerly and Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main Street, Rochester, N.H.

So sorry to hear of your sisters passing. I know she must have been a very special person because Greg loved her and spoke of her often. I'm sure they will have much to talk about now that she has gone to be with him.He will take her by the hand and show her the ropes.
