Andrew Hackley Obituary

Mr. Andrew John "AJ" Hackley, 30, of Smithsburg, passed away on Friday, June 6, 2025. He was the longtime boyfriend to Destinee Howe.

Born November 30, 1994 in Gettysburg, PA, he was the son of John and Angelic Hackley.

In addition to his parents and girlfriend, he his survived by his daughter, Catherine Hackley, son, Jack Hackley, sister, Brandi Hall (Andrew), brother, Toby Hackley, grandparents, Robert Bitler Sr., Adella Weigand (Keith) and Kenneth Hackley Sr., numerous nieces and nephews,

AJ was preceded in death by his brother, Ryan Hackley.

The family will receive friends from 4pm to 7pm, on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church, Frederick. The funeral services will be held 11AM, on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
