ANNA NEAL Obituary
Gennie (as she was known) worked at the shoe factory in Emmitsburg and St. Joseph College. She loved to go dancing, gardening, and reading. She also had a love for cats. She was a member of St. Joseph Church in Emmitsburg. She loved spending time with her granddaughters Amanda and Ashley and great grandchildren, Madison, Dylan, Cole and Kelsie.
Surviving is her daughter Cynthia Neal Wivell (Joseph Jr.). Granddaughters Amanda Wivell Barker (Ryan Barker) and Ashley Wivell Merriman (Christopher Merriman). Her great grandchildren Madisyn Barker, Dylan Barker, Cole Merriman, Kelsie Merriman and many nieces and nephews
She was married to Alfred G. Neal Jr. for 49 years until his death in 2001 and lived in Emmitsburg her entire life.
She is predeceased by sisters Mary Kessler, Dorothy Goulden, Frances Kessler and Catherine Kessler and brothers Leonard, Guy and Donald Kessler.
Services are private as Anna wished. We want to thank all those that helped take care of mom. Donations can be made to Frederick Hospice, 1 Frederick Health Way, Frederick, MD 21701. ANNA NEAL
