Annie Kolb Obituary
Mrs. Kolb was a member of Calvary Assembly of God, Walkersville. She was a farm wife on the Kolb generational family farm in the Rocky Ridge area. She enjoyed her family, cooking and baking, the Christmas season and was an avid Washington Redskins fan.
Surviving are children, Robert E. Kolb Jr. and wife Mary Lou of Hagerstown; Delores Ann Staub and husband Nevin of Summerton; Marlene Rebecca Cook and Mary Jane Putman and husband Wayne, all of Woodsboro and Dennis Lee Kolb and wife Bonita of Raleigh, NC; 13 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren, a brother, Harry Franklin Elsrhode of Reno, NV and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 4 sisters and 2 brothers.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 8 at St. John's Lutheran Church, 8619 Blacks Mill Rd., Creagerstown, with Pastor Wes Newell, pastor emeritus of Calvary Assembly of God, officiating. Interment will follow in Creagerstown Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Hartzler Funeral Home, 404 S. Main St., Woodsboro, 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, September 7.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.

Sorry to hear of the passing of another of the great generation. I have fond memories of her huge homemade farm dinners and the bustling farm activities. It was always one of my favorite trips to the Kolb farm to play with Lori Bobby and the clan. Sorry I could not attend. I would have loved to pay tribute and to see you all again. In later years I would go with my father to fish on the pond. Fondly Renata
