Barbara Garber Obituary

Barbara L. Garber was called home by our Lord on July 14, 2015 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was the loving wife of Frank "Eddie" Garber of Woodsboro, Maryland; the mother of Kerry Putman and Kevin Smith; grandmother of Tawnee Morales and Rodney Nagy; and great grandmother of Yamilette Morales.

Barbara was a member of the Good Timers and the Red Hats, and one of her favorite hobbies was refinishing furniture she found at garage sales and Good Will. She was always working on some type of project, whether it be as extensive as painting the house or as simple as making a bow for her great granddaughter. Her most favorite past time was shopping and those who enjoyed this activity with her learned the meaning of "shop 'til you drop". Her favorite store was Good Will, where she would find little treasures for the family or something unique to decorate her own home.

Barbara will be interned in Point Marion, Pennsylvania with a private family ceremony.
