Charles Martin Obituary
CJ worked as a carpenter for many years before starting his own towing company, CJ's Country Boy Towing, which he enjoyed operating with his family.
Charles is survived by his daughter, Valicity Resha Martin, his devoted companion Pattee Cole, his son-in-law Matthew Wayne Burriss; 4 grandchildren Paul D. Brown, Charles J. Martin Burriss, Matthew W. Burriss II, and Brooke A. Ahalt.
He was preceded in death by his wife Neula Eleanor Bartee, a daughter Rhonda Dale Burriss, and his cousin Upton Boxal, Uncle Willie Boxal and Aunt Nellie Dillehay.
Charles loved to camp with Pattee and his beloved dog Buddy. He also enjoyed spending quality time with his family.
The family will be receiving friends on Friday June 15th from 1-3 and 6-8 PM at the Hilton Funeral Home, 22111 Beallsville Rd. (Rt. 109), Barnesville, MD.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on June 16th at the Barnesville Baptist Church, 17917 Barnesville Rd., Barnesville.
Interment following the service will be private. Guest are asked to stay for a luncheon at the church.
In keeping with CJ's request, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.

CJ i will miss you so much. You were always there for me when i needed you. I remember we would talk hours non stop at your store. You helped my mother out so much. The world has lost a great person. I love you so much. Rest in peace. My good friend.

I have known Charlie all my life. We were neighbors and he always looked out for my disabled brother Joe. Charlie would give you the shirt off his back. Always there with a helping hand. He raised two fine young women who were the same way. It is with much sadness that we have lost yet another great man. Rest in peace Charlie. With much love to you and to all your remaining family.
