Charles Wilt Obituary
Born on June 20, 1942, in Frederick, MD, he was the son of Charles Franklin Wilt and Gladys Marie (Mauck) Wilt. Sonny was the last of his immediate family. Sonny worked as an equipment operator for Dairy Maid Dairy until his retirement at the age of 65. He enjoyed watching Westerns and the National Geographic Channel.
He is survived by his niece Brenda Campbell; nephews, Richard Wilt, Stanley Wilt Jr. and Scott Campbell and great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Carroll and Stanley and his sister, Barbara.
A graveside service will take place on Friday, December 11, 2020, at 3pm at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 515 South Market Street, Frederick, MD 21702.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Frederick Health Hospice, 1 Frederick Health Way, Frederick, MD 21701 or to Meals on Wheels of Central MD Inc., Attn: Development Office, 515 South Haven Street, Baltimore, Maryland, 21224.
