Charlotte Canino Obituary
Born on February 21, 1939, in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late John James and Helen Marie (Riddle) Strickland.
Along with her husband, Charlotte retired from being a retail and distributor owner of Flag-to-Flag Racing and Mid Atlantic Motorsports.
She has been a life long blood donor for the NICU, an avid bowler, and a master puzzle builder.
In addition to her husband, Benny, she will be missed by her children, Michael W. Canino, Lillian C. Eakle, Christine L. Paul, Dea L. McDonough and Kimberly R. Canino; 8 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her two sisters, Helen M. English and Bessie M. Daniels.
The family will receive friends from 11 to 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 27, 2025 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Frederick Health Hospice and to Frederick American Red Cross.

Mrs. Canino was wonderful Mom grandmother and Great Grandma. I was lucky enough to be at some of family gatherings. She adored her family. I want to say how sorry I am to the whole family. My prayers are with you.
