Christopher Owen Miller of Middletown, MD, age 23, passed away on June 10th in Peru. He was a 2014 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Washington College in Chestertown. MD. He double majored in Biology and Hispanic Studies. In addition to his coursework, Chris was heavily involved in many clubs including E.R.O.S., Spanish Club, Residential Life, and many others. He is survived by a family he adored and his beloved friends the world over.
Chris believed in community and sought to enrich the lives of others no matter their circumstance. He also loved to travel and his kind heart and unconditional love served as a beacon to all those around him.
He will be remembered by all those who knew him as a wonderful son, precious grandson, loving brother, and greatest friend.

A casual celebration of life will be held on 6/28 at the Elks Lodge in Frederick, MD. The family will begin receiving guests at noon and the service will start at 2. In lieu of flowers, the Chris Miller '14 fund has now been established at Washington College. This fund, administered by the Modern Foreign Languages Department, will be used to help students with some of the costs associated with study abroad.
