Eric Basore Obituary
Born April 29, 1964 in Washington, DC, Eric was the son of Faye Basore of Wilmington, NC and the late Gary Basore. In addition to his loving wife and his mother, Eric is survived by five children, Joshua Dane Basore (Christa), Levi Nic Basore, Isaac Gary Basore, Jonathan, and Erin; siblings, Staci Michelle Basore of Harrisburg, PA, Jason Basore of Westminster, MD, and Jennifer Basore of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Jocelyn, Nathan, Cali, Ada, and Clara, and many other relatives and friends. His beloved Great Dane, Baron, will also really miss him.
A celebration of Eric's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 (stjude.org)

Eric I cant believe you've moved on....I'm so sad that my kids will no longer be able to experience time with their Uncle Eric. You had become such a big softy with them especially Garrison. There are so many more conversations I wish we could have had....I'm going to miss you brother.

To our dear mountain neighbors Denise, Nic and Isaac, in this time of unimaginable lossand to Joshua, Jonathan and Erin and their families, to Eric's sisters and brother, mom, family and friends who may not have met us (yet are so familiar from Eric's stories), deepest sympathy, thoughts and prayers. Walking our dogs on Tower Road, seems like we spoke to Eric at least once a week when he would drive by in his truck, or with Denise heading out for a swim date, or with one of his boys on an errand. The window would roll down and a wave and hello would become a long conversation, inevitably circling back to anecdotes about you, the people he loved so fiercely. Our sons will always remember their seasons on Coach Eric's baseball team. He was one of a kind. May he rest in peace.

Dear Basore family we are so sorry for your loss. My grandson Gage and I first met "coach " during flag football years ago. Coach Basore was an important part of my grandson Gage's life during a very difficult time in his young life back then. We send our heartfelt sympathies to you today. Words cannot express the sorrow I feel for my friend Faye and her family. Although I have not seen Eric since his childhood, I will always think of him as the sweet, polite young boy who played with my sons. Please know that I am praying for God's comfort during this very difficult time.
