Eunice Young Obituary
Born December 11, 1935, in Oxford, England, she was the daughter of Albert William and Florence Rose Curtis. She had a lifelong admiration for the royal family; coincidentally, she passed away on the same day as Queen Elizabeth II.
As a devoted military wife, Eunice left England with her family and lived on various bases in the United States. A witty and fun-loving person, she and Skip were frequently out on the town dancing on the weekends. In addition, Eunice loved doing ceramics and knitting, a hobby she kept up even while living in Texas.
She is survived by her children, Robert (Pam) Young, Michael Young, and Angela Miller. Her grandchildren: Ryan & Kyle Young, Joseph Young, Robert Schultz, and Pamela Urcid. Great grandchildren: Brandon Sier, Shane Schultz, Madison Schultz, Logan Schultz, Connor Schultz, Victor Reyes, Jose Reyes, Matthew Urcid, sisters-in-law Patsy Eavey, and Kris (Tom) Crone.
She was preceded in death by Terry, Beth, and Amy Baker.
The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 21st at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Homes, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick. The funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 AM. Rev. Dr. Steve Larsen will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

I remember Eunice, Skip and her children. I have very fond memories of having tea with her and my mom and going camping and fishing with them too. She was a very funny and loving person. My sympathy to all of her family and friends. She will be missed by many who had the honor and pleasure of knowing her.
