Fiore Nardo Obituary

Lou Nardo passed away on 3 November 2025 in New Market, MD, at 56 years old. Raised in Lancaster, PA, Lou attended the Naval Academy and served in the Navy on the USS Charlotte (SSN 766), a fast attack submarine stationed in Norfolk, VA. Upon completion of his active service, Lou built a successful civilian career and art supply business. His connection to the water eventually carried him to the Caribbean, where he became a certified PADI Divemaster.

Lou's love for his family and children provided a life full of joy and fulfillment. He was a one-of-a-kind father and mentor, and passed on his passion for life, work ethic, and humor to his children; he loved being a father more than anything. Lou married Shevaun German in July 2019, sharing with her twelve incredible years of love and partnership.

He is survived by his wife, Shevaun Nardo; his former spouse, Toni Katonka; his children: Anthony, Ben, and Jessi Nardo; his stepchildren: Jason and Marissa German; his grandchildren: Hazel and Ash Nardo; his parents, Harriet and Fiore Nardo; and his brother, Jim Nardo. Lou's passionate heart, infectious smile, adventurous spirit, endless generosity, and love of life touched everyone fortunate enough to know him. His legacy lives on in every life he helped shape on his journey.
