George DeNeale Obituary
Born March 19, 1922, in Washington, D.C., Mr. DeNeale was born blind and home schooled by his loving mother, who taught him to type, a skill which he used in writing a trivia column for a Washington-area newspaper for over 28 years.
He was the last of his immediate family, and is remembered by a special, devoted friend, Lynn Harris and husband, Stephen, of Frederick.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 4 at Saint John's Cemetery, East Third and Fourth streets, in Frederick, Md. Services will be conducted by his friend and spiritual caregiver, Bishop Carl Purvenas-Smith.
The Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church St., Frederick, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
