Jack Bookwalter Obituary
Jack was a lifelong Giant Food employee and an avid car show enthusiast, who enjoyed showing off his 1936 Ford Truck. His greatest joy and love though was his family. Along with Marjorie, he is survived by 4 daughters, Joanne Sharkey (Patrick), Sandra Crovo (Andrew), Deborah Whims (Milton), and Christina Whims (Glen). He treasured his 15 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren with another due in January. He is also survived by numerous extended family members, special nephew Bobby Bookwalter, many close friends and best canine companion, Bandit.
A Visitation will be held from 4-7 pm on Sunday, September 7, at the Stauffer Funeral Home in Frederick, located at 1621 Opossumtown Pike Frederick, Maryland 21702. Service will be held Monday September 8, at 11 am, at the Stauffer Funeral Home in Frederick, following a visitation from 10-11 am. A reception will be held following the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation to the charity of your choice in Jack's name. Jack O. Bookwalter

I new Jack through the Catoctin Mountain Streetrod Club. He always had a smile and a little twinkle in his eye. He could talk to anyone, he was always ready to help and he was always kind. Gone too soon, my sincere condolences to Marge and family.

So saddened to hear that Jack has passed away. We worked with him at Giant many years ago and we remained friends. He was such nice and friendly gentleman. Prayers for his dear family.
