Jeffrey Pope Obituary
Born August 19, 1949 in Maryland, he was the son of the late David Thomas Pope and Doris Virginia (Moore) Pope.
At the time of his death, Pap was the warranty administrator at Beckley's Camping Center. He loved camping, and spending time with his family and his dogs. He truly adored his grandchildren and his great-grandson.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Michele Beckley and her three children, Jordan, Taylor and Dylan, of Thurmont; and son, Tim Pope and wife, Jessica, and their four children, Abby, Tyler, Jacob and Annabelle; and great-grandson, Carter, all of Hanover, PA; and a sister, Judy Barnard and husband, John, of Delaware.
He was predeceased by an infant sister, Jennifer.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main Street, Thurmont. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 17 from the funeral home with the Rev. Tim May officiating.
Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Frederick County Humane Society, 550 Highland St #200, Frederick, MD 21701.

To a ole friend that was a coworker of mine at National Geographic Warehouse many years ago 1976. I just want to say Thank-you for being a friend, we had some laughs, I just want to say good-bye. Lord comfort his family during this sad time, in Jesus name we pray. Amen Craig ( GIL ) Gilbert
