Jesse Hubbard

Jesse William Hubbard, 19, of Thurmont, Maryland died unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at his home. Born February 12, 1997 in Frederick, MD, he was the son of Rachel (King) Hubbard of Thurmont, and George "Bill" Hubbard of Thurmont.

Jesse was a graduate of Catoctin High School, class of 2015. He worked at Blue's Antiques near Lewistown. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, crabbing, spending time with friends, and being outdoors, especially snowboarding.

Surviving in addition to his parents are sisters, Kristi Snurr and husband Wayne, Angie Hahn and husband Jeremy, and Kara Hubbard and fiance, Trent Ausherman, all of Thurmont; maternal grandmother, Esther "Becky" King of Keysville; nieces, Lexi, Madi, and Carly; nephews, Chance, Buddy, Cole, Jordan, and Mason; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his significant other, Taylor Washek and their dog, Bruno. Jesse was predeceased by maternal grandfather, Paul King, and paternal grandparents, Ralph and Pauline Hubbard.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Weller United Methodist Church, 101 N. Altamont Ave., Thurmont, MD, with the Rev. Virgil Cain officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the church.
