John Ramsburg Obituary
Born September 19, 1932 in Lewistown, MD, he was the son of the late Nellie M. Ramsburg Holt and the grandson of the late Charles M. Ramsburg.
He was the beloved father of Roxanne K. Ramsburg and Michael T. Ramsburg (Kimberly); grandfather of Jason M. Ramsburg (Tonya), Jeffrey M. Ramsburg (Courtney) and Allyson C. Cannon; great-grandfather of Hayden R. Ramsburg. He is also survived by his sister, Edna M. Gray and serveral nieces and nephews. He leaves behind his little poodle, Chloe. He was predeceased by his sister, Olive M. Ritenour.
John was retired from General Cable Corporation, and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Frederick Church of the Brethren and was a life member of the Frederick Elks #689 and the American Legion Post 0168.
A memorial service will he held at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD on Friday, May 27, 2016 at 2pm. Graveside service at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick immediately following. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Frederick Memorial Healthcare System Auxiliary, 400 West Seventh Street, Frederick, MD 21702.
