It was my pleasure to get to know John in his later years. As his son Don’s next door neighbor we would talk on occasion. He reminisced about growing up on Ford Rd, attending Bethel Church, and some of the many places that he lived. In recent months he bought a 360 mower which he loved. When he came to mow Don’s lawn, he started to mow mine, too. And when he could no longer do it, he told Don to transport and use the mower for his lawnbut to be sure to mow mine, too. What a gracious gentleman!
Marie & I send our love and prayers to Catherine, Don, Tim, the girls, and all John’s family and loved ones. He is missed already.

love and miss you dad you help me whit a lot of things in my life i will never forget all the things you help me whit and done for me but this is the hardest thing in my life losing you love you dad till we meet again
