Joseph Cardinale

1934 - 2017

Mr. Joseph John Cardinale, 83, of Frederick, MD and formerly of Tampa, FL, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2017, at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, in Baltimore. He was the husband of Mary Ann Mirabole Cardinale. Born in Tampa on August 25, 1934, he was the son of the late Joseph and Josephine Rametta Cardinale.

John was a graduate of the University of Florida, Gainesville. He was retired after 38 years with Acoustic Engineering Company, of Florida.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Milo A. Cardinale, of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Cara Simmonds and husband Cary, of Washington, DC, five grandchildren, Quinn, Mary, Sara, Andrew and Ryan, one sister, Yvonne Rodante, of Montana, and nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 13, 2017, at 2:30 p.m., at Saint Timothy's Catholic Church, Walkersville. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to services. The celebrant will be,Father Juan Vazquez-Rubio.

Interment will be on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 in the Myrtle Hill Memorial Park, Tampa, FL.

Local arrangements are with the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the St. Timothy's Catholic Church, 8651 Biggs Ford Road, Walkersville, MD 21793.
