Katherine Bledsoe Obituary

Mrs. Katherine M. "Kitty" Bledsoe, 74, of Fairfield, Pa., died Monday, June 20 at the Gettysburg Hospital, Gettysburg, Pa. She was the wife of Ronnie Lee Bledsoe, whom she married April 13, 1958.

Born March 17, 1931 in Thurmont, she was a daughter of the late Chester Allen "Pappy" and Lottie Marie Cline Stull.

Mrs. Bledsoe in her early life worked at Western Union in Frederick and Waynesboro.

Surviving besides her husband are three daughters, Rhonda Sanders of Thurmont, Tammy Gray Thomas and Kimberly Ann Kreun both of Waynesboro; five grandchildren, Ashley Sanders and Tara Sanders, both of Thurmont, Jamie Gray and Ronnie Gray, both of Hanover, and Corey Kreun of Waynesboro; two great- grandchildren, Damian Sanders and Alexis Sanders, both of Thurmont; eight brothers and sisters, Clifford Stull, Roland C. Stull, Fay Webster, Nancy Stull, Clara Jean Late, Chester Stull, and Priscilla Nash, all of Thurmont and Shirley Lantz of Lantz.

Many nieces and nephews also survive.

Mrs. Bledsoe is at the Robert E. Dailey & Son Funeral Homes, P.A, 615 E. Main St., Thurmont, where friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m., Tuesday, June 21. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 22 at the funeral home with the Rev. Ruth Ann Ward, Weller United Methodist Church, officiating.

Interment will be in Blue Ridge Cemetery, Thurmont.

The family requests that memorials be made in memory of Mrs. Bledsoe to the American Cancer Society, 11331 Amherst Ave., Silver Spring, MD 20902. (Please specify for Breast Cancer Research.)
