Age 31 of Mt. Airy
Kenneth Travis Stabler, 31 of Mt. Airy, died Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at home. Born March 2, 1983 in Westminster, he was the son of Christine Hanigan Jones of Woodsboro and the late David Brooke Stabler.
He owned and operated Stabler Tree & Crane Service with his brother. He enjoyed fishing and traveling to Florida.
Surviving in addition to his mother are brother and sister-in-law Andrew and Amanda Stabler of Mt. Airy and his stepfather Richard Jones of Woodsboro.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 3:00 PM at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Rd., Sykesville.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 1pm until the time of services.

You will be missed more than I can express. We didn't hang everyday but when we went on out summer hangouts they lasted and were always memorable. You were always the best story teller and we had a lot of crazy stories shared....I will remember our VW days to Mole's in High School and our shared summers & springs of chaos as adults. I guess you won't be popping over my driveway this April like usual to get us out of hibernation, I will miss u...fly high!
