Kevin Kies Obituary
Survived by his parents Rosamond (nee Grodi) and Randall Kies, of Mt. Airy, MD, his brother Michael and his wife, Elizabeth, niece Emma and nephew Brady of Westminster, MD, and his love, Betsy Riffert.
Kevin was loving Uncle. He enjoyed watching Emma's Field Hockey games and Brady's Baseball games. He also enjoyed Family Vacations, going gigging in North Carolina and Offshore fishing on occasions. Summers were for Cornhole, cooking his famous chicken wings on the BBQ grill or just hanging out on the deck late into the night talking about the Good Ole Day's. Kevin and Betsy loved to travel whether it was to Lake Tahoe or Cancun.
Kevin was a devoted 14-year employee of Wallworks, Inc. in the estimating department. Kevin could always be seen around town in a flash pair of sneakers, Ohio State gear, and his trademark backwards hat.
Very proud of his Maryland heritage, and playing football for Linganore High School in MD, he never sidestepped an opinion, and you knew his position. We will miss his contagious laugh. Kevin will be sorely missed. May he Rest in Peace!!!
There will be a Celebration of Kevin's Life on April 21, 2024 at the Red Lantern from 2:00pm to 6:00pm. Address to the Red lantern is 41 W Oak Ln, Glenolden, PA 19036.

May his soul rest in peace! I am sincerely praying God to give full strength to his parents, brother and his family to withstand this tragedy. I just noticed in Google. I worked for Randy Kies in Bechtel.

We lived across the street from Kevin and knew him since he was a toddler. Shared lots of memories with the whole family. He had a heart of gold. He took in my friends GSD Gunner when he needed a home. He was always upbeat and yes, always laughing. He will not be forgotten.
