Mark Ballard Obituary
He was born November 29th, 1984 in Frederick, Maryland and was the son of Mark Allen and Terrie (Corbin) Ballard of Mt. Airy, MD.
He graduated from Linganore High School in 2003. He was a loving father to his son Colt Lee Ballard, six years old. He enjoyed being outside hunting, fishing, and four wheeling with his family and friends. Mark was a longtime employee of Moxley Kidwell Construction. He enjoyed spending time with this family and friends and will be greatly missed.
Mark is survived by his loving parents Mark and Terrie Ballard; his sisters Morgan McDonough(Mark McDonough), and Mikinise Ballard; and his son Colt Lee Ballard and fiance Amy Beach. He also leaves his paternal grandmother, Joyce Ballard; his nephews Marshall McDonough, Mason McDonough, and Mitchell McDonough; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Thomas Ballard, Robert and Charlotte Corbin.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home on Saturday, December 2, 2017 from 10-11AM where a funeral service will begin at 11AM.
Interment will follow at Prospect Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mark's son, Colt Lee Ballard, P.O. Box 1084, Mt. Airy, MD 21771.

My heart aches with you and for you. I have only happy, loving memories of Marky. He always knew how to make us little cousins laugh and smile. He will be truly missed. There is comfort in knowing we will all laugh together again one day.

I'm so sorry for your loss I'll keep your family in my prayers Mark and I have known each since he worked at McDonald's we had some good times there always a great guy and funny I'm just so speechless we tried to keep in touch over the years always checking in when we could I was his boss and a friend I remember one time I couldn't find him at work he was hiding on the top rack where we would keep supplies he was behind boxes being funny said he was taking a nap he just wanted to scare me but I found him I'm so sorry sending you prayers and hugs
