Matthew Auth Obituary

Mr. Matthew J. Auth, 35, of Frederick, MD formerly of Monrovia, MD, passed away on Sunday March 18, 2012. Born on January 25, 1977, he was the beloved eldest son of Nancy Darby Auth of Monrovia, MD and James Auth of Damascus.

He is also survived by his sister Stacey Auth Grimes, her husband Seth and his nephew Dylan Matthew, his brother Thomas C. Auth all of New Market, MD., his Maternal grandmother, Madalean Darby of Frederick, MD, Aunts and Uncles Barbara and Rosser Campbell, Gaithersbug, MD, Henry and Wilda Auth, Oneonta, AL., William and Hazel Auth, Smithsburg, MD., Robert and Ann Auth, New Bern, NC and Elizabeth and Donald Stone of Colorado Springs, CO as well as many cousins.

He was preceded indeath by Maternal grandfather, Martin L. Darby, and Paternal grandparents, Henry and Maria Auth.

He will be fondly remembered by the clients and staff at the UCP Day Progran as well as his housemates at UCP Overbrook House, Stephanie and Betty and his many caregivers, especially Gail, Elisa and Darlene. And also Charles Johnston, his massage therapist.

Matthew attended Rock Creek School for many years, graduating in 1998. He then attendedThe United Cerebral Palsy Adult Day Program in Frederick where he will be remembered by his many friends and caregivers. The family will receive friends 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday March 21, at Molesworth-Williams P.A., Funeral Home, 26401 RidgeRoad, Damascus. Md, A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 22 at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow in Providence Methodist Cemetery, Monrovia, Md. Rev. Walter Edmonds of Damascus United Methodist

Church Will officiate. Memorial contributionsin Matthew's name may be made to United Cerebral Palsy of Frederick, 5736 Industry Lane, Frederick, MD 21704, The ARC of Frederick County, 620A Research Drive, Frederick, MD 21703 or the Kawinis Orthopedic Clinic of Washington, D.C., 201 8th Street, NE Washington, D. C. 20002.

He had many friends at the United Cerebral Palsy Adult Day program which he attended for many years.
