When one is 75, one's memory can become a bit shaky. My memories of Michael go back more than 50 years, when we were students at CWRU. Together, we ate and laughed over long dinners -- and talked of literature, politics, James G. Blaine, Teddy Roosevelt, and the issues of our day. We had a brief Reidy connection in 1968. I went back to Ann Arbor, Michael went abroad. Our paths did not cross again. I have thought about and missed Michael over these many years. He was a friend. I respected him. I know he will be missed.
