Randall Wilburn Obituary

Randall "Bill" William Wilburn Sr., aged 81, passed away on November 20, 2025, in Waynesboro, PA.

Born on February 17, 1944, Randall dedicated much of his life to his work at the Frederick Stone Quarry, where he held various positions including welder, maintenance team member, and dump truck driver over a span of 42 years. His work ethic and versatility at the quarry left a lasting impression on his colleagues and the industry.

Outside of work, Randall enjoyed deer hunting trips in Garrett County, MD, on family-owned land near Deep Creek Lake. He also enjoyed camping with his wife, Mary, their children, grandchildren, family and friends, creating lasting memories in the great outdoors.

Randall is survived by his sister, Peggy Youlos; his children, Randall Wilburn Jr. and wife Karen of Thurmont, Charles Wilburn and wife Cathy of Greencastle, Peggy Wilburn of Elk Garden, WV, and Richard Wilburn of Keyser, WV. His life was also enriched by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary C. Wilburn, his parents, Randall D. Wilburn and Charlotte Wahl, stepfather George Wahl, sister Betty Bowser, brother Claude "Smokey" Wilburn, and many cherished grandparents, aunts, and uncles.

Randall's life will be remembered for his dedication to his family and his enjoyment of the outdoors, which brought joy not only to him but also to those who shared in these adventures. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Randall "Bill" Wilburn, Sr.
