We are so saddened by this news. My husband, Bob, and I were both privilged to be among Ray's classmates both at TJ and at the UMd. We will always remember him as an accepting, friendly, giving person. Bob even had the opportunity to fly with Ray a time or two. The world is a better place because of Ray. Our prayers and most heartfelt condolences are with the Hawkins family.

Abrazos.

Ray was a wonderful friend and blessing to all. Our prayers to his family and wife Ana. He had a big heart for children and helping others. We worked in children ministry together for several years. At Christmas, Ray was Santa to all the children. He would listen to them throughout the year and write down their interest at Christmas the kids were amazed how Santa knew what they wanted. A blessing to hundreds, sharing the love of Jesus. He was a blessing in music teaching us all to play piano and provided keyboards to learn. Our Brother Ray had an overflow of love for all. He is greatly missed.

Bro Ray is gone home to be with the Lord He fought a hard battle & put on a brave face thru it all. Always saying he was doing good. He touched so many lives and blessed countless people with his big heart full of love, caring & generosity & he told many of the gospel of Jesus Christ. He truly exemplified the love of Christ and will be missed by hundreds of people. My prayers go out to his family and the love of his life, his wife Ana.

Raymond was such a great guy! I will always see him in his CAP uniform, standing proud, tall and handsome. He followed his heart and marched to his own beat all the way to Columbia and his wife Ana. Every time I see an airplane, I think of Raymond and now I will think of him soaring through the sky with angels!
