Richard Marr Obituary
He is survived by his father William Marr, son Alex, grandson Leonardo, and daughter Elizabeth. He will be especially missed by his best friend and companion, Roxanne Beal, dog Maggie and good friend Kip Kepler. He is also survived by his brother Ken and wife Anne, a brother Pat and wife Lynn. Rick was preceded in death by his mother Lyndall Marr.
Rick was a graduate of Washington College, Chestertown, MD. He owned a successful real-estate appraisal business for over 30 years.
Rick recently worked for Flamingo Pools and will be greatly missed by his special friends, Elizabeth Keeney and Jay Carswell.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and cooking with family and friends.
Rick was well known for his superb culinary skills and his generosity in sharing those delectable creations including the recipes with many friends, family and neighbors.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2016 from 2:00-5:00pm at 928 Shawnee Drive in Frederick where lunch will be served.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Frederick County Humane Society.
Arrangements are by Stauffer Funeral Home, Frederick.

This is so incredibly sad. I just read in Washington College Magazine that Rick had died. I was fortunate to have roomed with both he and Bill Baldwin in our senior year. One of the best years of my life. We were all fraternity brothers. I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to the family.
