Robert Lee Easterday

Mr. Robert Lee Easterday, age 89, of Feagaville, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2011 at his residence. He was the husband of 65 years of Eleonora Mae Easterday who passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2009. Born on February 24, 1922 he was the son of the late Louis Howard and Carrie (Whipp) Easterday.

Mr. Easterday worked as an appliance repairman, working for Routzahn's and Hiltner's. He was a life long member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Feagaville.

Surviving are his two nephews Roland Easterday and his wife Roxann and Ronald Easterday, and his brother, Donald Easterday.

He is preceded in death by his siblings, Franklin Easterday, Nellie Finneyfrock, Mildred Lance, Helen Biser, Catherine Whitehead, Daniel Easterday, Richard Easterday, James Easterday, Austin Easterday, and Karl Easterday. In addition, he will be missed by his neighbor Emma Bartgis.

Friends will be received at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 PM, where services will be held in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the funeral home on Thursday, July 7, 2011 at 10 AM. Rev. Kenneth E. Gill, Jr. will officiate. The interment will follow in St. Luke's Cemetery, Feagaville.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ronald Easterday, Kenneth Easterday, Thomas Easterday, Brian Easterday, Christopher Easterday, and David Bartgis, Jr.
