Robert Longnecker Obituary
Born June 8, 1938, in Chewsville, he was the son of the late Robert E. Longnecker Sr. and Rachel Eccard Longnecker.
He retired from Eastalco Aluminum Company of Buckeystown.
He was a member of the American Trap Shooters Association, national organization; North American Rod & Gun Club, Hagerstown; Waynesboro Fish & Game Club, Waynesboro; the National Rifle Association; and the American Association of Retired Persons.
He is survived by two daughters, Kari King of Hagerstown, and Cheryl Southerly of Tucson, Ariz.; and one granddaughter, Samantha King; two aunts and a number of cousins.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, at Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 26, at the funeral home. The Rev. John Schildt will officiate.
Interment will be in Mount Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Foxville.
The family requests the omission of flowers.
