Sharon Keyser Obituary

Mrs. Sharon Denise "Sherri" Keyser, 37, of Union Bridge, died Tuesday, September 19, 2006, at her home, after a heroic two-year battle with pancreatic cancer.

Born May 8, 1969, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of Katherine L. Wenck of Westminster and the late George R. Wenck Jr. She was the wife of John W. Keyser, her husband of 11 years.

Mrs. Keyser was a 1987 graduate of Westminster High--School.--She was formerly employed with Myers' Supermarket of Union Bridge and Kennies Supermarket of--Taneytown, prior to her illness.--She loved her cats, going to the ocean, flower gardening and decorating cakes.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by a daughter, Amanda K. Lambert of Union Bridge; a son, Gregory L. Lambert of Union Bridge; step son, Jeffrey A. Keyser and fiancee Jen Cusack of Eldersburg; stepdaughter, Jenna L. Keyser of Hedgesville, W.Va.; a brother, George R. Wenck III of West Palm Beach, Fla.; a sister, Melissa L. Wenck and fiance Chad Seymour of Westminster; mother-in-law, Mary O. Keyser of Union Bridge; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Stewart Keyser and wife Rosalie of Fairfield, Pa., Sherry Bauer and husband--David of Union Bridge and Michelle Legnaioli and husband Frank of Union Bridge; four step grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, September 22, at Hartzler Funeral Home, 6 E. Broadway, Union Bridge, with the Rev. Richard L. Michael, pastor of St. James Lutheran Church, Union Bridge, officiating.--Interment will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Uniontown.--The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, September 21.
